A New Kind of Relationship with You, Your Health, and Your Healthcare

Direct Primary Care

A New Concept for Better Healthcare

Direct Primary Care is a concept started by physicians who wanted to have the time to develop old-fashioned doctor-patient relationships while being able to provide excellent high-quality medical care. Members of Crown Health pay an affordable monthly membership fee based on age. The membership fees cover unlimited online telemedicine appointments and one house call per month.

In addition, Crown Health offers wholesale prices on prescription meds, along with deep discounts on labs and diagnostic tests, saving you hundreds of dollars. The income to this practice comes from the monthly memberships and this allows us to provide all the value-added services at a low cost.

Get to Know More About Me

I was born in Nigeria, Africa. At the age of nine, I moved from Nigeria to the United States with my family. In the fourth grade, I watched a documentary about Dr. Ben Carson. I was astounded, it was the first time I had ever seen a doctor that looked just like me. Right then and there I made a decision that I too could and would become a doctor.  And, I did just that!

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I attended medical school at Meharry Medical College, in Nashville, Tennessee, and stayed in Nashville to complete my Internship at Metro General Hospital.

During my Internship, I discovered a passion for Internal Medicine, I love the wide variety of problems I’d get to see in a day; everything from ingrown toenails to intestinal parasites! In addition to treating illnesses, Internal Medicine allowed me to provide broad preventative care, which is something I am very passionate about. I then moved to Springfield Massachusetts to complete a residency in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center.

While In Massachusetts, I met and married my husband and after residency, we moved south so I could take a job in Hospital Medicine in the Piedmont WellStar system. We now have two incredible children, a four-year-old daughter, and a three-year-old son. My greatest joy is coming home to them each day, watching them grow and develop. We are a very close family and we love nothing better than being with our kids, playing games, reading, and working together in the garden.
